Hi Steve, a moment ago I published in one of your videos, I followed all the steps you told me, but nothing works. I am attaching the project so you can see what I am doing wrong, thank you very much!

Hi, I show it working fine. I’ve attached a view of the log. What application are you sending the keystroke? Do you have the application as the active windows? Keystrokes will only be recognized in the active window. Are you running on Windows or Mac? Are you sure the incoming message is correct (including velocity)? Does your log show something similar to mine or nothing at all?

Also make sure your Xone K2 is set to MIDI channel 16. I think they default to 15 normally.

I’m running it in macOS, I want to use it in ableton, but I’ve tried it in the Finder to select several files, but it doesn’t work. The capture you show is not the same as what Bome notifies me. I enclose a sample of what happens in my macbook. As you can see it does not recognize that I am sending the Key Down and KeY Up function, only “Shift” is output.

Hi, I am able to duplicate the issue and we are working on a fix. The current and previous versions of MT Pro does not allow mixing and matching of keystrokes between devices (ie shift from MT Pro and click from real mouse) on the Mac version. This is planned to be fixed in an upcoming release. I’ll check on availability for you.
Thanks for your patience!

Hi, this is a known limitation on OS level: you cannot mix emulated keystrokes with “physical” mouse clicks.
We have, however, found a solution to make it work nonetheless. It will be available in the upcoming MIDI Translator Pro version 1.8.4, currently in final test round.
Thanks,
Florian
