Hi, I followed these directions but my slider still goes to 6db. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k79EOPm_TVY

This is a different device (mk2) but I figured setup would be the same.

In his video, he does not change the Control Surface input in Ableton, so I imagine that is not necessary for Bome but I am uncertain. Couldn't get it working even with CS input change to Bome's output.

Thank you!

Hi,

First you need to set up Ableton Live as shown in the first screen shot below. If Ableton also has APC40 MKII listed as input and output in the top box, disable it. You should only be listening to BMT 1 and sending to BMT 1.

Then use the attached file. I've set up fader 1 for you already. Add additional translators for any other faders.

Oh and make sure your inputs are defined at the preset level for incoming only from APC40-MK2 and output for only BMT 1. I would do this at the preset level and then all faders under that preset.

I also created a file below with the preset inputs and output set and a different methodology (scaling) to make the fader smoother through the whole range.

See attached.

New rules are

qq=pp*109

qq=qq/128

the output is set to qq.

Thanks so much. I\'ve uploaded the complete file for the device, for all 8 faders and the Master fader.

Now I just have to remove the fader braces that I glued on the device, and purchase the full version!
