Greetings, is there a public facing roadmap for the Bomebox published?
Is there a Bomebox 2.0 in the works? I'm not suggesting that one is needed.
The comment below is driving the question :
Does the BomeBox support MIDI-to-Keystroke translation?
I.e. you connect the BomeBox to a computer via USB and there, it appears as a QWERTY keyboard which can be triggered via translators in a MT Pro project in the BomeBox. This is not possible, because the micro USB connector is for power only. Maybe BomeBox 2…
Is there a BomeBox2 on the roadmap in 2020?
Gratefully.

Hi, there are certainly plans for new firmware for BomeBox. We do not have a public facing roadmap but right now the focus is on MIDI 2 improvements. BomeBox supports QWERTY keystrokes in but not keystrokes out. You can, however send serial data to a remote device and if the device supports serial input, you might be able to convert the serial data to keystrokes. For instance Bome MIDI Translator Pro can do serial (or MIDI) to keystroke conversion on PC and Mac. So you could send serial or MIDI to your PC or MAC and use Bome MIDI Translator Pro to convert them to keystrokes.
