Hi, if Adobe Audition support Mackie MCU protocol, you could probably modify the inputs from the project file I posted earlier today which translates CC value input to Mackie MCU Fader output.

You can find the posting at the below link:

The problem with me is the following: I want to buy the pro version, instead of buying another control surface it would be cheaper for me, but without the fader it would not work for me, I would not like an example file to modify since the APC project does not I can modify it, I don't have that much experience in this, please help

here the data I get from the fader in the log

Hi, The below should work for your fader assuming Adobe Audition understands Mackie MCU mode.

It appears that the messages your FaderPort is sending, however is Mackie HUI which is not compatible with Mackie MCU. This is the value of having Bome MIDI Translator Pro.

This message:

B0 0F 00 B0 0F 40

Is a HUI touch fader command. To convert it to Mackie you would have it send

90 68 7F

The message:

B0 00 pp B0 20 qq

IsĀ  a HUI fader move command

To convert this to Mackie MCU you need to change make the output :

E0 qq pp

The HUI Command:

B0 0F 00 B0 2f 00

Is for fader release. To convert to Mackie MCU you would send:

90 68 00

-- Note thatĀ  pp and qq are place holders for local variables.

If you have a project file that have other commands working, I'll be happy to add these for you? If you want anything more complex, reach out to me via email to discuss paid services.

I sent you the project file by mail, and I would appreciate trying to include the fader functions, since I am not very skilled in those matters, the rest is fine and it works. the cost send me your paypal account

Hi, Looking at your project file, it looks like all of your current mappings are MIDI to keystroke. This would be difficult with fader movements. I suggest that instead you set up Adobe Audition to recognize MIDI HUI as described in the below link. Then I should be able to help you get the fader working.
