Mid knob control of jog(scrub)

I would like to make a midi knob(pan, send) to control the Jog wheel so that I can scrub audio in the daw wave view for song editing.

What DAW are you using?  Does the DAW support keystrokes to scrub left and right or are the specific MIDI messages for scrub for the DAW?

 

If keystrokes, you can check on the tutorial below that was published yesterday. Instead of zoom-in ans zoom-out keystrokes, you would use scrub right and scrub left keystrokes.

Ableton Live 10

Just change your output from NUM+ and NUM- to  Right Arrow and Left Arrow.  If your relative controller sends a different CC,  or encoder type, you may need to also modify the input to match.
