Normal CC to toggle?

Hi!

My controller doesn't send toggle CC messages. It only sends normal CC (if I press the button it just lights up and send a single message). I want to make it toggle the messages, so if I press once it will send CC#1value127 (diode on) and after another press CC#1value0 (diode off) and it goes on and on. Since the controller is connected via usb I can control the diode by sending messages to the controller.

I honestly doesn't know if it's possible to do... anyone?

If you are using MIDI Translator it is definitely possible. You would need a simple translator which receives the message from the button and then translates it into a toggle message using a combination of rules. Have you purchased MIDI Translator?

You can also translate the CC messages to Note messages if you want. When you release the button does it send a message, or only when you press?
