I am using "Reaper" to do live action with the Samplemodelinf SWAM VSTi.
Regarding this, in a discussion forum I saw complains that certain VSTi parameters are not exported on a CC by those plugins.
In fact, Reaper is nonetheless able to automate these parameters in it's tracks, as here you can select parameters and CCs from the same list (with appropriate names exported by the VSTi). Obviously the difference between CCs and other VSTi parameters is not very big (regarding the VST host interface).
Obviously, right now MT can't access these non CC parameters at all.
Hence the request is to enhance MT to be a VSTi host. (E.g. by providing MT as a VST plugin ( that in turn can accept VST plugin as a host and tweak the Midi messages and the other available VST parameters in the process.
Providing a stand-alone exe would be nice, if somebody does not want to use another VST-Host that also tweaks the audio data.
