Hello; I've been playing a game called Elsword, and along my gameplay, I've had to deal with the tedium of being asked to play piano despite wanting to play the game to get the most out of it. I've even went through the trouble of buying the cable and downloading the Bome MT software (both 1.6.1 Classic and 1.7.2 Pro Trial), tried many of the suggestions I've seen around the forum (opening MT as Admin, assigning up and down for keystrokes, using the swallow option) but I haven't been able to get the keystrokes to register on Elsword.
Here's the thing: I know it's not an issue with the cable because the MIDI IN flashes whenever I press on a key, and the keystrokes are reading everywhere else (i.e. it works in my browser). I'm kind of at wit's end and unsure of what I can do at this point. Any suggestions?

OS: Windows 8.1 (afaik, up to date)
MT ver. 1.7.2 Pro Trial
