I am new to MIDI Translator. I'm trying to verify the translation by comparing the "capture midi" screens in the "incoming" and "outgoing" sections of the translator edit screen, but they both seem to be displaying only the incoming MIDI.
The output "sounds" OK on my instruments, but I would like to verify the actual encoding.
How can I see the actual outgoing MIDI messages?
MIDI Translator Verison 1.7.2 running on Mac OSX 10.9.5
Translators:
Incoming / Rules / Outgoing
90 ki vv / ko = 120 - ki / 90 ko vv
80 ki vv / ko = 120 - ki / 80 ko vv
Incoming capture:
90 ki vv checked Capture MIDI:
90 3C 43
80 3C 00
90 39 3E
80 39 00
90 35 3E
80 35 00
Outgoing capture: the same, separated by blank lines:
90 ko vv checked Capture MIDI
(the same, separated by blank lines:)
90 3C 43
80 3C 00
90 39 3E
