No Keystroke input with MAC El Capitan

I have a Mac version of Translator. My Mac Version WILL NOT accept incoming keystrokes. Yes I have gone into System Preferences/Security and Bome Translator is there and it is CHECKED to allow control. I have the current version of El Capitan OS.

How do I get it to work with incoming keystrokes?

MT's incoming keystrokes are tested to work on El Capitan. One thing to note is that MT's keystroke input only works when ANOTHER program is in focus. This is to prevent accidental execution of MT actions while editing a MT project.

If you switch to another program, MT's incoming keystrokes should work...
