mouse abs with second monitor?

Hello, is there a way to setup bome's midi translator to send mouse abs position messages to a second or third monitor. It doesn't seem to be working for me. The mouse just ends up at the farthest point of the first monitor no matter how far i set the y axis. I searched on here and didn't find any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi mattcoile

Sorry this got missed. Let me do some research when I'm back home (I have three monitors) and see what I can put together.

Thanks
Jared

That would be great! thanks! i've been using a workaround just by setting an abs point on the primary monitor and then using a (move mouse right) command to get it over to the other screen but it's sort of a pain to make these commands this way ( a lot of guess and check work)

I tried it as well and for me it did not work either.
Strangely, when you capture the cursor position, it seems to work.
(E.g. it shows a target point of 1041x1680)
But when you use the function/translator, it will only go to the end of the current monitor.
In this example to 1041x1080
(I have a monitor and a notebook whose screen stays below the monitor.)

Edit
For me even the work-around didn't work.
Translator 1: Mouse postion at 600x1060
Translator 2 (with a delay of 30 ms): Mouse movement by 300 pixels down

It stays at 600x1060, which is strange.

Try not using a delay but just placing the mouse movement command after the abs position command in the list and see if that works. That's how i do it and it seems to work fine (2 1080p monitors side by side). I've never tried it with a laptop so maybe that could be the problem. Not sure cause it seems like it should work with a delay command too. I'll try it when i get a chance on my desktop later

Scr1pter and mattcoile, are you on Windows or Mac? (programming the mouse is very different depending on the OS...)
Thanks,
Florian

I believe it's just a current limitation of MT Pro. I'll add it to the ToDo list.
Thanks,
Florian
