Virtual RS232 Port

Trying to connect Bome Midi Translator with some other software through a pair of virtual RS232 ports but i can't see the virtual ports in the list of availible serial ports in Bome Midi Translator. Don't think it's a problem of the virtual rs232 driver (com0com), as i didn't had any problems with other terminal software (e.g. Putty, accessing /dev/ttyX after stty in cygwin, ...) an can also see the virtual ports in windows device manager. Any suggestions?

if those virtual serial ports don't appear in MT Pro, then somehow they cannot be seen as a serial port. What's the name of the virtual port? is there a trial version of these virtual serial ports?
