Aghhh bcd2000 and virtual DJ

has anybody any idea how to get these 2 things to work together?

I have installed midi translator and midi yoke but now i'm lost and my brain is starting to leak out my nose.

Can you tell us how virtual DJ is controlled?

1) can it be controlled with MIDI signals?
-> then create a Midi Translator Preset with MIDI-to-MIDI mappings
2) can it be controlled with keyboard commands/shortcuts?
-> then define Translators that map MIDI-to-Keystroke

this guy has done a good job at it but its still not right and he explains it better than i could

I emailed the author of the WIKI page with instructions how to use Midi Translator 1.4. Then it should work for you, too, shouldn't it?

it does very nearly work, but some buttons dont do what you expect,

and behringer are being very arsey about everything telling me 70% of people that bought the BCD2000 are happy with it, but that means 30% are less than happy which is a huge ammount.

is there a list of controllers somehwre which explains what all the hexdecimAL TRANSLATES TO

for getting info which button/knob on the BCD2000 sends which MIDI command, you'll need to check the BCD2000 documentation.

You can also do trial and error by using Midi Translators Capture button in the Edit Translator window. Be careful to not accidentally overwrite existing working controllers!
