"Functions" in Bomes? Having Bomes send a message

I'm wondering if there is a way to simply run a translator without it having to listen for a midi event. Turn it into a "function" if you will.

I didn't see anything like that, so I'm guessing I'll need to have Bomes send itself a midi message essentially carrying the "function" params in it. Does that make sense?

Is there something better that I should be doing?

I don´t understand what you mean. A Translator in Midi Translator must be triggered by something (Keystroke In, Midi In, Preset Change, Timer) . So explain me what you want to do. Try to explain it step by step.

Perhaps your best bet would be to have a Translator fire off on the Special/Project Open event, and start a Timer event that would run Infinitely. Put your "function" in the timer and that's that.
