I just discovered what a wonderful debugging tool it is to output MT code as text, put comments in the text file, and then make a hardcopy to use as a reference while looking at the more limited rules window while writing MT code. This goes a long way towards fulfiling my previous request for a full sized editing window and support for comments and formatting.
What would make this even more useful would be the ability to then import the edited text file back into MT and have MT regenerate working code out of the text file. Best, of course, if the comments were ignored, but not that bad if I had to manually strip out the comments before import.
Of course one would have to follow syntax rigorously, but it would be worth it.
