Using a translated message as an input

Ok - I feel slightly embarrased on asking this question.

So I've converted the metronome button on my APC40 to a CC message, so it will no longer activate the metronome in Ableton Live.

For this example lets say its CC 60

I want to the metronome button to toggle between two presets 1) Traktor 2) Ablelton

I've created a tranlator to change preset, I want to activate this using the metronome button (which now outputs CC 60) the problem i have is that the input is the original message, not CC 60

i think this maybe a routing problem

Just create another translator that feeds off the original message, i had many translators per button in my template as i wanted them to do different things at different times....
