Hi!
I have previously purchased the MTplayer through nativeKONTROL, and now I need a qwerty-to-MIDI translator. Could I use MTplayer for this, with a custom preset or something? or do I need the full version of the Bome midi translator?

Hi meneldor,
If somebody has already made a preset that does this, then you will be able to use MTplayer, otherwise you will have to get MT and make it yourself. I don't know of anybody that has done this, but I know a few different DAWs support a qwerty keyboard 'in' as a MIDI keyboard. What is it you want to do?

I wanna use a qwerty keyboard to input MIDI messages to Serato. simple really.
Is there a config repository or something like that any place?

I'm not sure, but are you aware of the key-shortcuts in Serato? They are very handy...

yeah, I use them a lot. but I'm modding a keypad for serato use, so I need to change the configuration. And you can't change the keyboard shortcuts in Serato, plus some of the stuff I wanna do isn't covered by shortcuts, gotta do it in midi.
Does anyone know of any places that might have something I could use?
Or if MT is out of the question, does anyone know of a free/cheap program (MAC) that can convert qwerty to MIDI?

I think MT is your only option, the only software I know of that can do this. I can help you write a preset if you need?

Yo will need MT to make a full preset, and then you will be able to run it in MT Player...

It's easy enough to do though buddy, and once you get your head round MT, you will realize it is def worth the money...
