Transmitting Greater Values than 127

Hi - I have a Dave Smith's Tetra which uses NRPN Midi controls for the majority of its functions.

This enables it to have values beyond the max CC of 127.

It seems that all contollers - even enabled with NRPN functionality will only transmit up to 127.

I am trying to use MT to scale 1-127 up to 1-164 (in this case as an example the filter cut off)

I am getting stuck because even though in the MT log window it is showing values of 164 the Tetra is only registering 127.

I am just using a button to test this out - and transmitting the following string:

B0 63 00 B0 62 0F B0 06 00 B0 26 A4

Should this be possible ?

Hi Richard,

This should be possible if that is what the hardware supports, although I have never seen that before. Can you show me your Preset in more detail? I don't understand this string though - B0 63 00 B0 62 0F B0 06 00 B0 26 A4 - what is it controlling?
