kaos pad as a trackpad / touchpad

several ppl have recently created projects to create touch pads

whilst watching this i looked down at my kaos pad 1 and thought hold on it has midi out

am i presuming correctly that with the midi translator software that i could translate the movements on the kaos pad to mouse movements

sorry if its a noob question , just poped into my head and off i went googling and found my self here

You sure can! Can you show me what the MIDI messages are that come from the Kaoss Pad XY Pad? I will assume they are just 2 CCs...?

the bottom of this pdf shows all the cc controls supported on the midi out of the kaoss pad 1

i think there is quite some scope with the cc's available

even the change program knob could probably be used like a mouse wheel as well
