MiDI translator to control external midi equipment?

Hi!

I have bought a midi keyboard that can send assignable MIDI CC messages from its knobs and sliders for controlling amplitude, effect-returns and such in a music studio application.
However, these messages are only so useful, as I'd also want to use it to tweak sound parameters in patches of hardware and software midi equipment in real-time.

Can I do this using the MIDI Translator?

Hi Henrik

You can definitely do this, there are just a lot of different factors. To connect with an external piece of hardware you'd need a MIDI to USB device. Any interface that sends MIDI will do, in the end. You would need to work with presets and port assignments in MT, which can be very intensive, but it's definitely doable.
