MT Pro closes port on MT Player PTX Live Plus Preset

I am on OSX 10.8.5 with Ableton Live 9.1, MT Player 1.7.1 and MT Pro 1.7.2.

My problem is that when I open MT Pro after loading and configuring the PTX Live Plus preset "PXT_Live_Plus Output (From MT Player)" port is no longer available or present in the Ableton Live MIDI Sync Preferences. Therefore, the PTX Live Plus preset doesn't work. The PXT preset creator told me to contact this forum because there shouldn't be any conflicts between MT Pro and MT Player.

As a solution I was tried to Convert My MT Pro preset to an MT Player preset hoping my preset would play nice with the PXT preset but the same problem occurs.

Hi emergere.

So are you opening the Preset in the Player AND MT Pro at the same time, or are you making changes to the existing PTX Preset and trying to get it to run through MT Pro?
