hi, after using translator successfully for a while, it now stopped recognizing the incoming midi signal when i want to edit additional translations. it does still translate everything as it is supposed to and the little LEDs flash to signal that it receives MIDI input. any idea what the problem might be??
i'm kinda desperate, since i want to use the translator on stage this thursday, so your help will be greatly appreciated!
thanx

sorry, I don't fully understand:
- it does not recognize MIDI
- but the LEDs blink, and the translations work properly?
So, how does it not recognize MIDI if it's working correctly?
Can you give step-by-step directions, and expected vs. actual result?
Thanks,
Florian

this happened to me. don't know why. reinstall bomes and it will fix it.
and dont forget to export your presets first!
actually, now i remember what made it happen, i think, on mine -
when i imported a preset, and overwrote instead of adding to the current presets, thats what did it. or vice versa.
this happened twice and acted the same both times.
FLORIAN - so what happens, is the midi learn in edit mode stopped, but everything else is cool, FYI.

ah OK, that's probably a bug that is fixed for the next version. I improved the learn mode by displaying a history of recent MIDI events.
