SONAR 5 MIDI RECORDING

Yes when I load a VSTi in my SONAR 5 in start to record the program keeps registering F# on it and even after hitting PANIC it still registers the sound has anyone else had this problem? It does it on all my VSTi I tried out Steinberg VG and ABSYNTH 4

Is that with using Midi Translator (MT)? Can you see MT's MIDI out LED blinking when the F# is "played"? What is your MIDI setup and software setup?
