cant get mouse keyboard to work in Reason 4.01

I cannot get mouse keyboard to work in newest version of reason. when I go to select the keyboard in the reason preferences...where it prompts me to press a key on the keyboard, nothing happens. HELP

Well, a problem such as this could be caused by any one of many different things.

Mouse Keyboard requires that you have a virtual MIDI port driver installed. Have you installed one? Have you configured the proper MIDI out port on Mouse Keyboard and the corresponding MIDI in port in Reason?

Please post some more details of your setup and I'm sure we can help you out.

That my friend was the missing piece of the equation! Had to play with the settings for a while but got it to work, Thank you! I use a m-audio 1x1 for my actual keyboard in/out but have never done anything internally like the mouse keyboard. Trying to learn the almighty Thor!! - didnt wanna have to sit at my actual keyboard to hear the modifications as i build sounds.
