MK with Vista and Acid Music Studio 7

I've spent hours trying to get MK (and similar programs) to work with Acid Music Studio 7 in Vista with no luck. Am I wasting my time?

Intel CoreDuo 1.83GHz
3 GB RAM

Windows Vista Home Premium SP1

I'm sorry we haven't responded so far. We haven't test with Acid...in theory it should work. Have you had any luck by now?
